Virasat Mela 2026 From March 13 to March 15, DC Rajesh Dhiman

The Bathinda District Administration will organize the 19th Heritage Mela 2026 at the heritage village Jaipalgarh from *March* 13 to 15. During the fair, cultural activities, kite flying, traditional cuisine, folk dances etc. will be held, with singers Ranjit Bawa and Kanwar Grewal serving as the main attraction.

Deputy Commissioner Bathinda, Shri Rajesh Dhiman stated this while presiding over a special meeting organized to discuss preparations regarding the fair. He stated that various activities will be conducted during this cultural fair to promote Punjabi culture, ancient heritage and traditions. Traditional games, folk dances and the diverse colors of Punjab’s heritage will be showcased at the fair.

Deputy Commissioner informed that cultural teams from other states will also be cordially invited to participate in the event. Additionally, other activities will be held as per the established traditions of the fair. He appealed general public to participate in the fair and be an integral part of it.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Madam Poonam Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bathinda Shri Balkaran Singh, District Development and Panchayat Officer Shri Abhinav Goel, Chief Minister Field Officer Shri *Ramanjeet*, SP Shri Karanjeet Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Tapinderjot Kaushal, Shri Harvinder Singh Khalsa, President of Malwa Heritage and Cultural Foundation etc. were present, *Sh Chamkaur Singh Mann and Sh Ram Parkash Jindal, Mela Committee members.*–
