Stops Convoy En Route to Event and Provides First Aid

Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh today saved life of injured police personnel by stopping his convoy en route to an event and provided First Aid.
The injured person was seated in the minister’s security vehicle and sent to the nearest hospital so that he could receive immediate medical treatment.
While traveling from Patiala to the Sanour constituency for the Chief Minister’s event, a police personnel was injured in a road accident. On noticing this, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh immediately stopped his convoy and provided first aid to the injured personnel.
He further ensured that the injured was placed in his security vehicle and rushed to the nearest hospital for prompt treatment.
Elaborating on the incident, Dr. Balbir Singh said that upon seeing a crowd gathered on the road, it was learned that someone had been injured in an accident. On reaching the spot, he found a police personnel lying seriously injured and immediate assistance was provided.
The Health Minister stated that the government is not limited to policies alone but is also setting examples of humanity on the ground. He also appealed to the public to always keep a first aid kit in their vehicles so that injured persons can be helped immediately in case of emergencies.
