Operation Parhar 2.0: Two Arrested, 5 Country-made Pistols, Motorcycles Recovered

Bhagirath Singh Meena, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, while issuing a press note, stated that the Punjab Government has adopted a strict policy under the campaign ‘War on Gangsters’ to free Punjab from gangsterism/organized crime.

In this regard, under the leadership of Gaurav Yadav, IPS, Honorable Director General of Police, Punjab, and Harjit Singh, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bathinda Range, Bathinda, the Mansa Police has achieved success in apprehending 02 persons and recovering 05 pistols along with one CG 100 numberless motorcycle from their possession.

Harjit Singh, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bathinda Range, while providing information, stated that under the supervision of SSP Mansa, a police team led by DSP (Investigations) Mansa, Station House Officer (D) Mansa, and Incharge CIA Staff Mansa, including SI Gurvinder Singh 876/Mansa along with CIA Staff personnel, during patrolling on Kabrawala Road near Sirsa Road, Mansa, apprehended Richhvinider Singh alias Isky son of Baldev Singh resident of Borawal and Jasandeep Singh alias Kalu son of Gurtej Singh resident of Ward No. 6 near Peer Khana, Bhiki, who were riding a CG 100 numberless motorcycle.

During checking, two .32 bore country-made pistols were recovered from their possession, and FIR No. 23 dated 10-02-2026 under Sections 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station City 1 Mansa.

During the investigation, on the disclosure of Jasandeep Singh alias Kalu, 03 more pistols (two .32 bore pistols and one .315 bore country-made pistol) were recovered. In this case, a total of 5 pistols have been recovered so far.The arrested persons will be produced before the Honorable Court to obtain police remand and conduct in-depth interrogation from them.
