MP Satnam Singh Sandhu said, “Heartiest greetings to all on this holy festival of Baisakhi. On the historic occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas, visiting the sacred land of Malwa and bowing my head at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is not merely a religious ritual, but a blessed opportunity to connect with the source of spiritual power and ideological determination. This is the holy place where Dashmesh Pita Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji untied his ‘Kamarkassa’ (waistband) after enduring incredibly difficult times and immense sacrifices. This teaches us that battles are won not only on the fields of war but also through patience and unwavering faith. Known as ‘Guru Ki Kashi’, this sacred land of Talwandi Sabo stands witness to the fact that the Khalsa is a unique confluence of the Shastar (weapon) and the Shastra (scripture). Standing here, I feel that our resolve to serve Punjab must be as steadfast and strong as a rock. Today, while bowing before Guru Sahib at this holy site, we, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party family, offered prayers for the well-being of all (Sarbat da Bhala) and expressed our gratitude to the Tenth Guru,”.
