The Delhi Police Special cell has booked Gurpatwant Singh Pannu from Sikhs For Justice for allegedly threatening to create unrest in national capital ahead of Republic Day.
Police have registered case under sections 196 (criminalizing promotion of enmity, hatred, or disharmony between different groups (religion, race, caste, etc.), section 197 (harming national integration), section 152 (criminalizing acts endangering India’s sovereignty, unity, and integrity) and 61 (criminal conspiracy) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.
