Himachal Pradesh will conduct its upcoming round of departmental examinations from April 28 to May 6, 2026, a government spokesperson announced on Thursday.
Eligible candidates and government officials seeking to appear for the examinations must submit their applications through the official Manav Sampada portal between Feb. 11 and March 13. The Himachal Pradesh Board of Departmental Examinations confirmed that all detailed guidelines and exam schedules have been published on the Himachal Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) website.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide
To ensure a successful application, candidates are advised to follow these steps on the Manav Sampada portal:
- Login: Access the portal and log in using your specific Department, User ID (PMIS Code), and Password.
- Access Application: Once logged in, navigate to the “Dashboard” or the “HIPA Module” found under the “My Profile” menu.
- Initiate Form: Click on the link for “Applying Departmental Exam” to open the candidate window.
- Confirm Instructions: Read the displayed instructions carefully and tick the acknowledgment box to proceed.
- Fill Details: Complete the application form (DE-1), ensuring mandatory fields such as employee type, designation, and cadre are updated.
- Upload Documents: Upload a recent photograph and scanned signature if they are not already updated in your profile.
- Final Submission: Verify all details and submit the form. Note that applications must typically be verified by the respective Head of Department (HOD) to be finalized.
Important Note: The exam center for candidates appearing only in the “Financial Administration” paper may be allotted based on their district, while Shimla remains the primary center for most other subjects.
