Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Vice Chairman of Tourism Development Board (Cabinet rank) R.S. Bali inaugurated the Ski Snowboard Championship in Narkanda.
He said that these competitions will held from February 10 to 12. R.S. Bali said that such competitions should always be organized so that our upcoming youth can get a new direction. He stated that the Snowboard Championship in Narkanda is a major event that attracts players from across the country and abroad. In this championship, players showcase their speed and skills, and winners receive prizes and honors.
He said that Narkanda is an ideal destination for adventure tourism. The snowy hills, deep valleys, and serene environment here provide a unique experience for adventure enthusiasts. In addition to snowboarding, major adventure activities here include skiing, trekking, and camping.
Portable lift to be built at 50 lakh, rest house gate at 10 lakh
R.S. Bali announced the provision of a portable lift at Ski Slope Dhumri (Narkanda) at a cost of 50 lakh rupees in response to people’s demands. Additionally, he announced the construction of a gate towards Dhumri Ski Slope near PWD Rest House Narkanda at a cost of 10 lakh rupees.
On this occasion, R.S. Bali also planted saplings and gave a message to keep the environment beautiful and clean.
