CM wishes the injured persons a speedy recovery
Chandigarh, February 13
Following the recent swing accident at Surajkund Mela, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited the fair premises today and met the three injured persons admitted to Supreme Hospital, Faridabad. The Chief Minister enquired about their health and wished them a speedy recovery. He assured the victims that the government stands firmly with them. He termed the incident unfortunate and said the government is taking it very seriously. He also assured that the entire cost of treatment of the injured will be borne by the Haryana Government.
Expressing condolences over the martyrdom of Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who lost his life in the accident, the Chief Minister said that the government will provide a government job and financial assistance to his family. He further stated that to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future, a “Swing Safety Policy” will be formulated, aimed at ensuring the safety of swings and amusement rides, thereby strengthening public safety.
On this occasion, Haryana BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli, Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta, Haryana Tourism MD Parth Gupta, DC Ayush Sinha, and CMO Jayant Ahuja were also present.
