Parminder Tiwari attacked near bus stand, Polie starts investigation
Ludhiana, March 30
Congress leader Parminder Tiwari, was murdered in the village of Takhran on Sunday evening. He was Congress Block President from Ludhiana.
The crime occurred around 6:30 PM when Tiwari was sitting on a chair outside his home. Two unidentified people approached him from behind and attacked him with sharp edged axe. He was struck on the head and severely got injured.
Tiwari’s son reached the spot and found him lying in a pool of blood. Tiwari was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Machhiwara. Doctors referred him to Fortis Hospital, where he later died during treatment. Police from the Koom Kalan police station reached the scene upon receiving information and have begun an investigation. Officials confirmed that two unidentified people were involved in the attack, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
