Residents in Punjab may have to endure prolonged power outages over the next five days. The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has issued a public notice announcing scheduled electricity cuts from April 21 to April 28 across major cities including Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Bathinda and Patiala. The outages are being carried out as part of efforts to improve and modernize the power distribution system.
April 21:• Mohali: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM•
Ludhiana: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM•
Amritsar: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM•
Patiala: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Bathinda: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
April 22:•
Mohali: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM•
Ludhiana: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM•
Amritsar: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM•
Patiala: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM•
Bathinda: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
April 23:•
Mohali: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM•
Ludhiana: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM•
Amritsar: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM•
Patiala: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM•
Bathinda: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
April 24:•
Mohali: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM•

Bathinda: Power supply will remain disrupted in industrial areas including Dabwali Road Industrial Area, Mehta Road, Gehri Paghi Road, and Jodhpur village.

PSPCL has stated that these scheduled outages are necessary for infrastructure upgrades aimed at ensuring better and more reliable power supply in the future.
