Bird Shelter To Come Up at Vriddh Kedar Sarovar, DC

DC Aparajita inspects modern model of Vriddh Kedar Sarovar built by Arya Prayas Organisation

A bird shelter will be constructed in the middle of Vriddh Kedar Sarovar by the Nagar Parishad Kaithal. Apart from this, the walking of area, which is dotted with fountains, music system, electricity system and other works, will be renovated. Deputy Commissioner Aparajita instructed the Nagar Parishad officials in this regard during an inspection of the restoration model of Vriddh Kedar Sarovar prepared by Arya Prayas Organisation.

DC Aparajita instructed municipal council officials that visitors to Jawahar Park, Children’s Park and Vriddh Kedar Sarovar should not face any inconvenience. Necessary improvements should be made to ensure this. The model developed by the Arya Prayas organization is a very good one. Municipal council officials should seek the cooperation of the organization’s members, she added.

Municipal Council EO Sandeep Solanki informed the DC that a birdhouse is being built in the middle of the Vriddh Kedar shrine at a cost of around Rs 50 lakh, where birds will be able to take shelter. A bird tower will also be built in the center for this purpose. Its base will be strengthened with RCC, followed by stone pitching. Boats will also be operated in it. In the next phase, the shrine’s pond will be connected to another pond. He said that a tender of Rs 50 lakh has been placed for improving the entire park’s pathways, fountains, electrical systems and other works.

Arya Prayas Sanstha members Satish Kathuria, Vijay Goyal, Subhash Shastri, Sachin Goyal, Dr. Prabhakar Puri, Saurav Dhiman, and Sant Ram briefed the DC on the model’s features and discussed the ongoing work. They praised the DC’s efforts to renovate the park and said it would be very beneficial for the public.
