Chandigarh, May 14
Government Medical College Hospital sector 32 and south campus hospital sector 48, Chandigarh has announced revised OPD and related service timings for the summer vacation period from May 16 to July 23, 2026.
The updated schedule will be applicable at both the GMCH-32 campus and the South Campus Hospital in Sector 48, Chandigarh. According to the revised schedule, OPD registration will take place from 7 AM to 10 AM, while OPD consultation timings will be from 8 AM to 2 PM. The Blood Collection Centre will function from 7 AM to 12 noon during the summer schedule.
The administration has clarified that emergency services at GMCH-32 will continue to remain operational round the clock to ensure uninterrupted emergency healthcare facilities for patients. The revised timings have been introduced to streamline patient services during the summer vacation period and to facilitate better hospital management during the season.
