Health Secretary Inspects Chd Civil Hospitals

In a bid to upgrade hospital infrastructure and ensure better medical care within local communities, Mandip Singh Brar, Health Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, visited civil hospitals in Manimajra, Sector 22 and Sector 45.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen secondary healthcare services, making high-quality medical facilities readily available to the public and reducing the need to visit larger hospitals. During the inspections, Mandip Singh Brar interacted with patients and medical staff to understand their concerns and review ongoing services. He stressed the need to increase specialist doctors, expand surgical services, and make better use of available space for future development.

Reaffirming the administration’s commitment to accessible and efficient healthcare, the health secretary directed officials to prepare a clear action plan to upgrade infrastructure and improve services. This will ensure greater convenience and better healthcare for residents at the community level.

Also present during the visit were Dr. Suman Singh, Director Health Services; Dr. Sadbhawna, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Paramjit Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent; and other officials of the Chandigarh Administration.
