Chandigarh, February 4
Haryana’s Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that AYUSH dispensaries help in building a healthy nation by making India’s traditional health systems safe, affordable and accessible. Keeping this in mind, the state government has decided to open state AYUSH dispensaries across the entire state.
Currently, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has given approval to open 26 more AYUSH dispensaries in five districts, and mapping will soon be done in the remaining districts to open these dispensaries there as well.
The Health Minister informed that the state government is continuously striving to provide affordable and accessible treatment to the people of the state, hospitals are being opened as per need, and affordable medicines are being provided.
She stated that state AYUSH dispensaries will be opened in 5 villages of Rewari district—Lisan, Karwara Mankpur, Rohdai, Jaisinghpura, Jhabuwa; 6 villages of Mahendragarh district—Surjanwas, Gudha, Buchawas, Bawaniya, Rambas, Rasoolpur; 1 village of Karnal district—Fafdaana; 4 villages of Kurukshetra district—Ajrana Kala, Kaalsaa, Nalvi, Mohri; and 10 villages of Yamunanagar district—Mahiyuddinpur, Ratangarh, Bhangra, Talkpur, Khurdaban, Tajewala, Haddoli, Laadi, Kot Basawa Singh, and village Daarpur.
Aarti Singh Rao said that the Haryana government is promoting the AYUSH system in the state. AYUSH services are being strengthened in the state. An AYUSH University is being established in Kurukshetra. She said that the state government is committed to improving the health of the state’s people.
