69 Physiotherapist posts to be filled in Health Department: Health Minister Arti Singh Rao

CHCs to be set up at Ujhana and Sambhali: Aarti Singh Rao

Chandigarh, April 23

Haryana Health Minister, Ms. Arti Singh Rao, said that 69 vacant posts of physiotherapists will soon be filled in the State Health Department. A demand letter has been sent to the Haryana Public Service Commission for the recruitment, increasing the earlier demand from 54 to 69 posts.

The Health Minister said that the Haryana Government has approved the establishment of Community Health Centres (CHCs) at village Ujhana in Jind district and village Sambhali in Karnal district. The Chief Minister has approved Rs. 2195.46 lakh for the construction of the CHC at Ujhana, while Rs. 2322.37 lakh for the CHC at Sambhali.

She added that directions have been issued to officers to ensure that Sub-Health Centres, PHCs, CHCs and other health institutions are set up as per norms in rural areas wherever required, so that people in villages can access quality and affordable healthcare services.
