Sonipat DC Orders Immediate Upload of Water Conservation Records on JSJB Dashboard

Review Held on Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari 2.0Campaign Works in Sonipat

Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh has directed all concerned departments to ensure timely uploading of data related to water conservation and artificial groundwater recharge structures on the JSJB portal to strengthen the implementation of the Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari 2.0 campaign.

The directions were issued during a review meeting held after a video conference chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Anurag Aggarwal, with Deputy Commissioners across the state.

During the VC, the progress of works assigned to various departments under the water conservation campaign was reviewed in detail and necessary instructions were issued for effective implementation.

Subsequently, DC Neha Singh held a meeting with officials of HSVP, Municipal Corporation, Panchayati Department and other concerned departments at the camp office to assess the progress of ongoing works related to water conservation and artificial groundwater recharge structures.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed that water conservation is the need of the hour and said active participation of both government departments and the public is essential for the success of the campaign. She instructed officials to work with seriousness and responsibility to achieve the objectives of the government’s water conservation initiative.

The meeting was attended by ADC Ajay Chopra, DDPO Manish Malik, XEN Vinod Kumar, XEN Kulbir, CMGGA Prakhar Sachan, EO Siddharth Kumar, PO Praveen and other officials.
