In recognition of his distinguished contributions to the sikh community, improvements in gurdwara management, and public welfare initiatives, the International Bhai Mardana Society specially honored Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

At the ceremony, Society President Jagjit Singh Bhullar and other office-bearers observed that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has not confined itself to the upkeep and administration of gurdwaras alone, but has historically delivered significant services in education, healthcare, and social welfare. They noted that the DSGMC continues to implement sustained, innovative measures to provide high-quality facilities to the general public.

They stated that under S. Harmeet Singh Kalka’s visionary leadership, gurdwara administration has seen marked improvements in transparency, discipline, and modernization of amenities. Continuous day-and-night efforts by the DSGMC to deliver enhanced services have strengthened the congregation’s trust.

The Society President added that the DSGMC initiatives in education for students and healthcare services for the public are inspirational for society at large, and that these measures further the Sikh principle of selfless service to humanity.

Responding to the honor, S. Harmeet Singh Kalka thanked the International Bhai Mardana Society and affirmed his commitment—alongside the cooperation of the sangat—to further expand religious, educational, and social services.
