CM Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for 6 Projects Worth ₹113.64 Crore

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Gurugram has today become the engine of not just Haryana’s but India’s economic progress. He stated that Haryana is moving rapidly on the path of development under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and the ‘Double Engine’ government in the state. The Chief Minister emphasized that the government’s objective is to ensure balanced and inclusive development of both urban and rural areas across Haryana.
The Chief Minister was addressing the ‘Viksit Gurugram Maharally’ organized on the birthday of MLA Mukesh Sharma. Extending greetings on his birthday and on the upcoming New Year to the public, CM Saini said the government is committed to delivering on its promises. Out of the 217 commitments made in the election manifesto, 54 have been fulfilled within one year, while work on 163 others is progressing steadily. He reaffirmed that this is the people’s government, working with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.’ Leaving behind regional and caste-based politics, the government is advancing with the vision of ‘One Haryana, One People.’
Inauguration and Foundation Stones for Projects Worth ₹113.64 Crore
Chief Minister Saini inaugurated and laid foundation stones for six development projects worth ₹113.64 crore in Gurugram.
Projects inaugurated included a Multi-Level Car Parking at Sadar Bazaar (₹55.20 crore) and a Community Centre in Sector-14 (₹17.76 crore) — totaling ₹72.96 crore.
The projects for which foundation stones were laid include RMC Model Road and Drain at Sector-16 (₹8.32 crore), Sewerage and Water Supply Pipeline at Sector-17A (₹6.28 crore), Hostel Construction at Sector-16 (₹6.67 crore), and Special Repair Works at the New Vegetable Market (₹19.41 crore).
The Chief Minister said these projects would strengthen Gurugram’s infrastructure and enhance civic amenities for citizens.
₹1,909 Crore Spent on Development in 11 Years
The Chief Minister said that over the past 11 years, developmental works worth ₹1,909 crore have been carried out in the Gurugram Assembly constituency. Out of 67 announcements, 39 have been completed while 11 are in progress. He added that alongside development, environment conservation is being given equal priority, with expansion of oxygen pockets, parks, electric buses, and modern waste management systems being undertaken to improve quality of life.
Series of New Announcements for Gurugram’s Holistic Development
Responding to MLA Mukesh Sharma’s proposal, the Chief Minister made several announcements for Gurugram’s comprehensive growth:
- A new school building near Police Lines, Gaushala Ground will be built at a cost of ₹4.90 crore.
- A modern sports hostel will be constructed at Nehru Stadium.
- 30 Ayushman Aarogya Mandirs will be established across the city.
- Construction of the Civil Hospital will begin soon.
- The Primary Health Centre at Wazirabad will be upgraded into a 50-bed hospital.
- The Maitri Van in Wazirabad will be completed.
- A City Bus Terminal in Sector-29 will be constructed, and after the old bus stand is shifted, a City Bus Depot and other facilities will be developed there.
- A library will be built in the Biodiversity Park, with entry gates named after Guru Dronacharya and Mata Sheetla.
- A cremation ground at Rajendra Park, community centers at Kamla Nehru Park and Silokhra village will also be developed.
- The Sadar Bazaar will be redeveloped into a ‘Smart Market’, and the construction of over 100 km of Smart Roads will begin soon.
₹5 Crore Each for Gurugram, Sohna, and Pataudi
To accelerate overall development, the Chief Minister announced an additional ₹5 crore each for Gurugram, Sohna, and Pataudi Assembly constituencies. He assured that the government is working on long-term projects to strengthen Gurugram’s drinking water system for the next 50 years.
Leaders Hail Development Initiatives
Former MP Sudha Yadav said that under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, Gurugram will set new benchmarks in cleanliness, development, and healthcare by 2026.
Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that the Chief Minister’s leadership has ensured effective implementation of welfare schemes on the ground. He stated that under this guidance, Gurugram’s education, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors are witnessing systematic strengthening.
MLA Mukesh Sharma, the organizer of the rally, said that under the Chief Minister’s strong and visionary leadership, Gurugram and the entire Haryana are moving swiftly toward self-reliance. He shared that under the CM’s guidance, road construction on 900 meters of revenue paths has already begun, enhancing convenience for locals and ensuring equitable urban-rural development.
