Dr. Sunaina Dalal Sangwan, daughter of Rohtak city, has achieved a major international milestone, bringing pride to India and Haryana. Australia’s prestigious national-level shooting organization, Target Pistol Australia, has announced its new leadership team, appointing Dr. Sunaina Dalal Sangwan as the National Secretary of the organization.
According to the official announcement issued from Brisbane, Australia, Michelle Sandstorm has been appointed President, while Paul Steen and Linda Ryan have been named Vice Presidents. Dr. Sunaina Dalal Sangwan has been appointed Secretary and Carrie Ann Karlick as Treasurer. Dr. Sunaina Dalal Sangwan holds a PhD in Management and is joining the executive team with fresh ideas, energy, and enthusiasm. The organization expressed confidence that her experience and leadership abilities will provide a new direction to target pistol shooting in Australia.
Her achievement has created a wave of happiness among the people of Haryana and the Indian community. This accomplishment is not only a personal success but also a recognition of Indian talent and leadership capabilities at the international level. Rajnarayan Panghal, advocate and sports promoter from Haryana, congratulated Dr. Sunaina Dalal Sangwan and said that Indian-origin daughters reaching leadership roles abroad is a matter of pride for the entire country. He added that her success will inspire the younger generation, especially girls.
Dr. Sunaina Dalal’s family still resides in Kamal Colony, Rohtak. In 2016, she moved to Australia with her husband Praveen Sangwan, who is a mining engineer in Perth. Their 13-year-old son Samarthya Sangwan is also an excellent shooter. Her husband Praveen Sangwan also participates in shooting sports.
