Sirsa Minor Murder Case: Victim’s Family Meets CM Nayab Saini

CM Assures of Fast-track Court Trial For Swift Justice

In the case of the alleged murder of a young girl from village Rampura Bishnoiya in district Sirsa, the victim’s family met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh demanding strict action against the accused.

Chief Minister assured all possible assistance in the matter and stated that the case would be taken up on a fast-track basis to ensure prompt justice. He also directed that immediate financial assistance be provided to the family. It is noteworthy that on December 16, 2025, around 5:00 PM, a three-year-old girl from village Rampura Bishnoiya in district Sirsa went missing from her home. The family informed the Goriwala police post about the disappearance around 8:30 PM.

Upon receiving the information, the police immediately initiated action. CCTV footage from the vicinity of the victim’s house was examined, which showed the child riding on a motorcycle with a neighbor and his nephew. Considering the seriousness of the incident, ten police teams were formed to trace both suspects.

Early the next morning, one accused was taken into custody. During the search operation, the body of the child was recovered from the Nuiyanwali Minor Canal. The post-mortem was conducted at Civil Hospital, Dabwali, by a board of doctors comprising two gynecologists, one forensic expert, and one medical officer. The second accused was also arrested, and as he is a minor, he has been sent to an observation home as per legal provisions.

During the investigation, viscera and other samples were collected and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination. The accused’s samples were also seized and dispatched to the FSL for forensic matching.

Further investigation in the case is ongoing, and all scientific and legal procedures are being followed with utmost care.
