Tesla Opens First All-In-One Centre In Gurugram

Gurugram, Nov 27

Tesla India has opened its first Tesla Centre in Gurugram. This is a major step in its plan to expand electric mobility in India.

The new centre is at Orchid Business Park. It offers retail sales, after-sales service, delivery, and charging — all in one place. The Model Y, priced at INR 59,89,000, is now available for order. It comes with home charging support. Tesla says the car has top global safety ratings and is one of the most popular cars worldwide. Deliveries for new orders will be completed within this year.

At the launch, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said this is a proud moment for Gurugram. He called it a new milestone for the city’s development. He said Haryana is becoming a major hub for investors. The state contributes 3.6% to India’s GDP and has strong export growth — from Rs 70,000 crore earlier to Rs 2,75,000 crore in 2025.

Saini spoke about Haryana’s good road and air connectivity. He mentioned key projects like the KMP global corridor. He said the state is growing in mobile and automobile manufacturing, as well as agri-vehicles and two-wheelers. He also highlighted the presence of 12 lakh small industries, a new MSME department, and less red tape after removing old laws.

The Chief Minister said Haryana is preparing for future technologies. An AI hub is being built in Gurugram, and a Department of Future will focus on deep-tech systems. A Rs 2,000-crore fund will support start-ups. An integrated manufacturing sector is also coming up in Hisar. Saini said the government will fully support Tesla. He hopes the company will set up allied units in Haryana.

Sharad Agarwal, Tesla India’s General Manager, said Tesla aims to help India move toward clean energy. The Gurugram centre brings together a showroom, test drives, V4 Superchargers, and service under one roof. He said Tesla’s charging network will expand quickly to make electric driving easier. The centre is designed for rising EV demand in northern India.

Visitors can learn about Tesla technology, charge their cars, and see Optimus Gen 2, also displayed in Mumbai and Delhi. Tesla says showcasing robotics shows its progress in AI and automation. Tesla entered the Indian market in July. It has already opened experience centres in Mumbai and Delhi, along with three charging sites in these cities.

Once One Horizon Gurugram opens, Tesla will operate four charging stations in the city with 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers. Tesla says its Supercharging system lets a Model Y charge up to 275 km in 15 minutes, offering a quick “Plug In, Charge and Go” experience.
