Punjab Government Continuously Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure: Mohinder Bhagat

Punjab’s Minister for Horticulture, Freedom Fighters and Defence Services Welfare, Mohinder Bhagat, visited the local ESI Hospital to review the healthcare services available at the hospital, the facilities being provided to patients, and the functioning of various departments. During the visit, he obtained detailed information from the hospital administration regarding treatment arrangements, modern medical equipment, availability of medicines, and the facilities being provided to patients.
During the inspection, the Cabinet Minister also interacted with patients admitted to the hospital and their family members to learn about their experiences regarding the treatment being provided. He said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to ensuring quality and accessible healthcare services for every citizen. With this objective, the state government has strengthened the healthcare infrastructure in government hospitals so that people do not have to depend on private hospitals for better treatment.
Bhagat said that patients at the ESI Hospital are receiving quality and improved healthcare services, which reflects the government’s commitment to further strengthening healthcare services. Appreciating the work of the hospital’s doctors, nursing staff, and other employees, he said that serving patients with sensitivity and dedication is the true hallmark of quality healthcare.
He directed the hospital administration to accord the highest priority to patient convenience and ensure that there is no deficiency in treatment, cleanliness, availability of medicines, or any other essential arrangements. He said that the Punjab Government is continuously strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and making every possible effort to provide high-quality healthcare services to the people.
The hospital administration briefed the Cabinet Minister about the various healthcare services being provided at the hospital, the number of patients, available medical facilities, and future development plans. Officials of the concerned department, senior doctors of the hospital, and other administrative officers were also present on the occasion.
Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat expressed confidence that the ESI Hospital will continue to provide high-quality healthcare services in the future and effectively implement the government’s healthcare policies.
