Deputy Commissioner directs officials to ensure all necessary arrangements


Rohtak, May 25

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on June 21, 2026. He directed all concerned officials to ensure all necessary arrangements for conducting the examination peacefully, fairly and transparently. He said that no negligence regarding the examination arrangements would be tolerated.


Sachin Gupta was chairing a review meeting regarding preparations for the re-examination of NEET (UG), scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026, at the auditorium of the Police Department located in the Mini Secretariat. He said that the district administration is making all necessary arrangements to conduct the examination in a transparent and peaceful manner. He instructed officials to ensure basic facilities for candidates during the examination and to make preparations strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by the NTA.


Sachin Gupta said that there should be no deficiency in law and order, electricity, water supply, transportation and health services during the NEET (UG) 2026 examination. He directed Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Clean drinking water should be made available at examination centres, and the Corporation should arrange shamianas outside the centres to provide drinking water and other essential facilities.

Considering the extreme heat, the Health Department was instructed to make special arrangements for ORS as well. Examination day local bus service routes should be planned keeping the examination centres in view so that candidates do not face any inconvenience in reaching their centres.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Health Department to deploy medical teams under the supervision of medical officers along with ambulances and ensure ambulances are stationed near examination centres.

The Municipal Corporation was instructed to deploy special staff for sanitation arrangements and maintenance of toilets. He further directed that all CCTV cameras, mobile jammers and other necessary equipment be installed at examination centres a day before the examination.


Sachin Gupta said that biometric verification and strict security checks would be ensured by the NTA. All centre superintendents were directed to inspect their examination centres and ensure all necessary facilities and security arrangements. Adequate police force should be deployed inside and outside examination centres, and parking arrangements should be made near the centres.


Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, Sampla Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ankita Puwar, Regional Transport Authority Secretary Virender Singh Dhull, Municipal Corporation Joint Commissioners Manjit Kumar and Namita Singh, Meham Cooperative Sugar Mill Managing Director Mukund Tanwar, Divisional Commissioner’s OSD Shubham and other concerned officials were present on the occasion.
