Ludhiana, October 16
Territorial Army Group Headquarters Western Command has announced a recruitment rally for the Territorial Army scheduled to be held in Ludhiana from November 17 to November 30, 2025.
This opportunity is open to residents of NCT of Punjab (except Pathankot and S.A.S. Nagar), Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kendra Shast Pradesh Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Chandigarh and Delhi. The recruitment process emphasizes fair and transparent selection based on merit, with no stage payment involved.
Rally include Soldier (General Duty)-716, Clerk-02, Chef Community-06, E.R-02, Artisan Metallergy-01, House Keeper-01, Tailor-02, and Mess Keeper-01.
The schedule will commence on November 17, 2025, involving the clerks of UT of Punjab, Haryana and Leh and tradesmen of All Infantry Battalions Zone-1 including the 103 Infantry Battalion (TA) Sikh LI in Ludhiana. In the following dates 18 November for UT of Jammu and Kashmir and NCT of Delhi, 19 November for Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, 21 November for Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Barnala, 22 November for Gurdaspur, Ropar and Kapurthala, 23 November for Mansa, Ferozepur and Malerkotla, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar The includes 25 November, 26 November for Sangrur, Moga and Faridkot, 28 November for Taran Taran, Patiala and Jalandhar, 29 November for Fazilka and Ludhiana and 30 November for Muktsar. Candidates have to report at 02:00 am, there will be no entry after 05:00 am.
Eligibility criteria include the age range of 18 to 42 years by date of recruitment, with a minimum height of 160 cm, weight 50 kg and a chest measurement of 77 cm and a spread of 5 cm.
Academic qualifications 45% overall and 33% marks in each subject for Soldier (General Duty) 12th pass with 50% marks in each subjects for Soldier (Clerk) and 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping and 10th pass for Soldier (Tradesman) (House Keeper and Includes the 8th pass for the mess keeper. The required documents include a domicile certificate, character certificate, caste certificate, 20 coloured passport-sized photos, original mark sheets, copies of pen and Aadhar cards and as applicable unmarried or married certificates.
Mobile phones, watches and electronic devices are prohibited in the examination area and candidates who succeed in physical and medical tests will have to attend the written examination.
