AMRITSAR, April 30 — Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. on Thursday attended an event focused on innovation and entrepreneurship at the School of Eminence in Jandiala Guru, where he also inaugurated a modern computer laboratory.
During the visit, the minister inspected the Business Blaster Project being implemented at the school.
Addressing students and staff, he said the state government is working to make young people not only educated but also self-reliant and employment-oriented. He encouraged students to focus on innovation, creative thinking and entrepreneurship, adding that practical implementation of ideas is essential alongside academic learning.
He urged students of Classes 11 and 12 to use funds provided under the Business Blaster Scheme to develop their business ideas into small ventures while continuing their studies.
The minister said such initiatives help guide youth towards new and innovative paths and contribute to building a self-reliant state. He also appreciated the efforts of the school management and teachers in promoting creativity among students.
