Boosting Drinking Water Supply
In the Beet area, the government prioritizes strengthening drinking water infrastructure, with 15 new tubewells under rapid construction to alleviate shortages and enhance clean water access. A Rs 43 crore, 25-lakh-litre storage tank in Dulhehr nears completion, featuring 14 km of double pipeline and installed pumping machinery for long-term relief.
The 50-lakh-litre tank in Polian stands fully operational, ranking among Himachal Pradesh’s largest and poised to fulfill sustained local water demands.
Pond Beautification and Directives
On Tuesday evening, Agnihotri reviewed Poobowal pond’s beautification, hailing it as a model blending natural conservation with modern growth. The expansion will reinforce water preservation while transforming it into a tourist attraction, boosting regional identity.
He reiterated completing projects within deadlines, prioritizing public facilities to channel benefits directly to communities.
