Dastar Sajao Muqable Dedicated to Birth Anniversary of Martyr Baba Deep Singh Ji on Jan 26: Harmeet Singh Kalka

New Delhi, January 24

Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, while giving information, stated that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, with the cooperation of the Dharm Prachar Committee, is organizing a grand turban decorating competition dedicated to the sacred birth anniversary of Amar Shahid Baba Deep Singh Ji on January 26, 2026, Monday, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib, around the sarovar.

Sardar Kalka said that the turban is not only a Sikh’s identity but also a symbol of martyrdom, self-respect and unwavering devotion to faith. The main objective of this competition is to connect the young generation with the legacy of the Gurus and to create awareness about Sikh values.

He informed that the winners among the participating children will be specially honored so that self-confidence and pride in Sikhism can be further strengthened in the children.

Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka appealed to all Sikh sangats to participate their children in maximum numbers in this sacred competition, contribute to connecting them with Sikhism, and carry forward the great legacy of the Gurus.
