Dr. Mohit Dua Appointed International Relations Committee of OTA

Dr. Mohit Dua, Senior Surgeon, Department of Orthopaedics, PGIMS, Rohtak has been appointed as a member of the prestigious International Relations Committee of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA), USA. The appointment letter sent by the OTA leadership congratulated him and stated that the OTA Board of Directors unanimously approved his appointment. A three-year term is approved, with an option for reappointment for an additional three years.

Dr. Dua’s term will officially begin at the OTA Annual Meeting in September 2026. This summer, he will receive a detailed schedule of committee meetings. The committee typically meets each October and during the AAOS Annual Meeting. Additionally, two to four conference calls are held throughout the year, bringing together experts from around the world to strategize international collaboration, training, and research in the field of orthopedic trauma.

Dr. Mohit Dua has been performing remarkable work in the field of orthopedics and trauma surgery for many years. He specializes in complex fractures, pelvic trauma, and joint reconstruction. He has published dozens of research papers in national and international journals. He has played a key role in elevating trauma care at PGIMS.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. H.K. Aggarwal congratulated Dr. Dua on this achievement, saying, “This appointment of Dr. Mohit Dua is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and international expertise. His selection to the OTA’s International Relations Committee is a matter of pride for PGIMS. I am confident that Dr. Dua will strongly represent India in global trauma care from this platform, and that young physicians at our institute will also benefit from this international experience.”

Dr. Agarwal said that faculty members like Dr. Dua are establishing the academic and research credibility of the institute on the world stage.
