Development activities in the Pundri Assembly constituency received a major push on Monday as MLA Satpal Jambha inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth crores of rupees across several villages and wards of the constituency.
The day-long programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, who warmly welcomed the MLA during his visits to multiple areas including Jambha, Tayontha, Habdi, Sirsal, Badnara, Fatehpur, Faral, Dhand, Barot, Jadaula, Pabnawa, Kaul, Sangrouli, Khedi Sakra and Ahun. During the visits, the MLA inaugurated and laid foundation stones for a wide range of projects including roads, farm paths, streets, parks, community halls, tube wells and shed construction works. Street construction works in various wards of Pundri town were also inaugurated.
Among the key projects launched were the road construction from Ahluwalia Chowk to Pundrik Tirtha and the road from Guru Brahmanand Chowk to Mundri Wali Canal in the Fatehpur area. In addition, shed construction works were inaugurated at the Dhand New Grain Market and Kaul Grain Market to provide improved facilities for farmers and traders. Villagers expressed happiness over the commencement of projects related to parks, community centres and other public infrastructure in rural areas.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Satpal Jambha said that development works are being undertaken on a priority basis across the Pundri Assembly constituency. He stated that strengthening rural infrastructure such as roads, drinking water facilities, parks and community halls remains a key focus of the government.
He further said that under the leadership of the state government, development works are being carried out without discrimination and similar efforts will continue in the future to ensure holistic growth of the region.
