Resilient and Fertile Land of Opportunities
The Chief Minister praised the hardworking and resilient people of Punjab, a land blessed with the legacy of Gurus, saints, and seers. He described Punjab’s fertile land as capable of fostering growth in various sectors, noting its revival and flourishing after challenging times.
Boosting Entertainment and Tourism

Punjab’s Agricultural and Industrial Potential
As the food bowl of India, Punjab offers significant opportunities for the food processing industry. The state has implemented a robust single-window system to streamline business processes, positioning Punjab as a preferred investment destination globally.
Industrial Transformation and Global Investments
Since March 2022, Punjab has seen a paradigm shift in its industrial landscape, attracting investment proposals worth Rs 1.23 lakh crores, with the potential to create over 4.7 lakh jobs. Global Reach and Investor-Friendly Ecosystem
Punjab has attracted investments from countries such as Japan, the USA, Germany, the UK, UAE, Switzerland, France, and Spain. The Chief Minister credited the state’s investor-friendly ecosystem, including the FastTrack Punjab Portal and the Punjab Right to Business Act, which ensures fast approvals and regulatory reforms like time-bound clearances and deemed approvals.
Partnership with Industry
Mann stressed that the state government views industrialists as equal partners in Punjab’s growth. The New Industrial Policy of 2022, shaped with input from industry leaders, reflects this collaborative approach. The state has also formed 24 sectoral committees chaired by industry captains to develop sector-specific policies.
Commitment to Transparency and Support
The Chief Minister assured industrialists of the state government’s commitment to a transparent and supportive partnership. He invited them to the sixth Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, scheduled for March 13–15, 2026, in Mohali, to collaborate on Punjab’s industrial future.
