New Delhi May 8

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka, in a statement issued today, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Parvinder Singh Lakhi and his associates for joining Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State.

He said that whenever a large number of young people in any constituency work together with honesty and dedication, no opposing force can stand against them. Kalka praised the panthic thinking and enthusiasm of the youth, stating that at a time when many people prioritize only political gains, these young individuals are coming forward to serve the panth while remaining connected to religious and social values, which is highly inspiring.

He stated that Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State is not a political party, but an organization committed to the service of Guru Ghars, the promotion and propagation of sikhism, and the strengthening of social unity. Through the management of Guru Ghars, educational institutions, schools, colleges, and hospitals, the party is reaching every section of society through dedicated service.

DSGMC president said that the foundation of every strong party lies in its younger generation. He expressed happiness that with the active participation of youth in ward 41, the roots of Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State are becoming even stronger. He appealed to Lakhi to bring forward active and dedicated youth from the area and entrust them with major responsibilities in the party and its youth wing, so that the organization can gain renewed strength across Delhi.

He further stated that a large conference would soon be organized through which the sangat of the area would be informed in detail about the various services carried out by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee over the past years. He assured that the newly joined youth would be given important responsibilities not only within Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State but also in the institutions functioning under the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Harmeet Singh Kalka thanked all the youth and the Sangat, stating that through collective efforts, new milestones would be achieved for the progress of the Panth and the welfare of society.
